JOHN R. MCFADDEN, ESQ.

Education John graduated magna cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University.  During law school, John law clerked at the Albany County District Attorney's Office.  
At law school,
John competed on Albany Law School’s National Trial Team and was a member of the Albany Law School Journal of Science and Technology.
 

Experience -  After graduating from Albany Law School and passing the New York State Bar examination, John began practicing criminal law.  John dedicates his practice largely to defending those accused of crimes, including but not limited to DWI, insurance fraud, larceny and domestic violence related crimes.  John was admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of New York, in 2011.

Associations John is a member of the Albany County, Rensselaer County and New York State bar associations.

Awards - John was recently selected as one of superlawyers "rising stars" for upstate New York.



KAREN A. RHOADES, ESQ

EducationKaren graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University in 2004.  At Albany Law School, Karen served as a member and associate editor of the Albany Law Review and competed in the Negotiation Competitions and was a member of the Albany Law School chapter of the American Inn of Court. 

Experience -  Karen was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 2004 and the New York State Bar in 2005.  Karen was admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of New York, in 2005.  After graduating from Albany Law School, Karen immediately began advocating for her clients.  In 2009 Karen continued representing clients as the owner of the Law Offices of Karen A. Rhoades.  During August of 2010, Karen founded the Latham law firm of Rhoades, Cunningham & McFadden, PLLC with lawyers, Daniel Cunningham and John McFadden.
